Beginning Thursday, August 7th the ARKAN Talk & Traffic Net will move to the 146.700 (-) PL 110.9 repeater for a trial period of 3 months. We will also begin a swap net. There will be a discussion on The Arkansas QSO Party. Then Charles NX5V will talk about repeater operations and how they are linked together in the UHF system. Now's the time to ask him about the things to come! You don't want to miss this one. ARKAN Christmas Party? Yes, Friday December 12th at the Springdale Station of the Arkansas Missouri Railroad. Cost is $15 per plate and must be paid no later than the November 24th ARKAN meeting. The parlor car can only accommodate 36 people. When it's full it's full. There is a possibility that the train will be mobile for the party so plan ahead. Just think, it will be nice and cool by then!
